Young researchers have few opportunities to encounter researchers other than their majors in their daily activities, which makes it difficult to obtain extensive of knowledge. However, in the past, there was a time when researchers from various fields gathered on a cross-cutting theme and held a study group where they could directly interact with front-line researchers, which is a very meaningful opportunity for young researchers. It seems that there were opinions from inside and outside the university calling for the implementation of a similar study group. Therefore, to encourage more active exchanges for young researchers, we set up a "Young Researchers Study Group" based on modern needs. In this study group, they will introduce the research contents that young researchers are currently conducting, and freely exchange opinions beyond the boundaries of departments and majors, and even beyond the boundaries of young researchers and senior researchers. We would like to create a study group that encourages young researchers to motivate their research activities. In addition, we plan to promote exchanges among a wider range of age groups by encouraging the participation of graduate students by making the study group open to the public. 「次世代エネルギー産学連携研究会」のご紹介Introduction of " Industry-Academia Collaboration Workshop for Energy of Next Generation " 「エネルギー総合学連携研究機構」では、企業との連携を促進するために「次世代エネルギー産学連携研究会」を設け、エネルギー分野における脱炭素化、再生可能電源の大量導入、エネルギーシステムのセキュリティ強化をはじめとした社会課題の解決や、新たな価値を創造するために、エネルギー事業のみならず、 さまざまな産業との相乗作用を活性化することによって、関連技術の社会実装を目指します。さらに、次世代のエネルギー･モビリティ・情報通信分野での新たな技術システムの実現と産学連携のあり方について検討していきます。東京大学がエネルギー分野で長年培ってきた研究やその成果を提供することにより、企業のみなさまと一緒に社会実装へつなげていければ幸いです。なお、この研究会は東京大学国際オープンイノベーション機構（IOI 機構）および一般財団法人総合研究奨 励会と連携して推進しています。 The " Collaborative Research Organization for Comprehensive Energy Science " has established the " Industry-Academia Collaboration Workshop for Energy of Next Generation " to promote collaboration with companies. There, we aim to solve social issues such as decarbonization in the energy field, mass introduction of renewable power sources, and strengthening of energy system security. In addition, we aim to implement related technologies in society to create new value by activating synergies between the energy business and various industries. We will also discuss the realization of new technological systems and industry-academia collaboration in the fields of energy, mobility, and information and communication in the next generation. We hope that the research and results that the University of Tokyo has cultivated over many years in the energy field will be utilized together with companies and will be linked to social implementation.
